Smart Devices That Will Make a Pet Owner’s Life Easier

Taking care of a pet has been one of the hardest though rewarding lifestyles to do throughout the ages. Even before the dawn of modern technology, mankind has already used their pet canines to either guard their livestock from wolves or to chase away trespassers from their abodes. According to an article in ABC news, domesticated dogs descended from the wolves who made contact with humans 15,000 years ago in the Middle East.

However, later findings suggest that wolf domestication could have been occurred much earlier to what was originally believed. Ever since then, humans and dogs have already solidified their relationship as close life companions. A study once even revealed that humans and dogs produce the same type of hormone when they both looked into each other’s eyes.

Throughout the years, having a pet eventually became a commonplace among people all around the world. This is especially true to dogs, which gained a reputation as the “man’s best friend” due to its unwavering display of loyalty towards its owners.

Take for example the story of Kabang, the dog in Zamboanga City, Philippines who lost her snout after throwing herself right on a speeding motorcycle that is about to hit two girls. The damage she inflicted in the accident was so severe that she has to be sent to the United States in order to give her proper medication. Fortunately, the dog was able to survive and even made a full recovery hereafter.

In the United States, 9 for every 10 Americans believed that they consider their pet to be a part of their family. This only proves how much love humans have already invested in pet animals such as dogs. Moreover, pet ownership in the US has already tripled its population ever since the 1970s, paving the way to the age where being a pet owner is not just a simple hobby anymore. It’s now considered more to be a lifestyle.

Now that the latest advancements in the field of technology have already made a lot of things for us a lot convenient and easier, it is no doubt that the same can be applied in pet ownership. Typically, animals such as dogs can be quite hard to handle, as many breeds available in shops do have their own set of unique characteristics and physical features.

An American foxhound is the good-natured, low maintained type of hounds, German shepherds are renowned for their high energy and intelligence, and Beagles tend to be more friendly, and affectionate to their owners compared to most breeds.
